BAM is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team. The DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and deployment pipelines to support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes. This role involves collaborating with development and operations teams to automate workflows, improve system reliability, and ensure scalability. The DevOps Engineer will also monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure for efficiency and security.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure in an automated fashion.
  • Work with developers and cyber security engineers to foster a DevSecOps mindset throughout the teams. Implement security best practices in infrastructure and deployment.
  • Provide guidance on infrastructure and deployment best practices. Ensure teams understand the pipeline and deployment practices.
  • Monitor system performance and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
  • Optimize infrastructure for cost, performance, and security.
  • Work with Cyber Analysts and Engineers to monitor and respond to security incidents and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Strong experience with AWS
  • Expertise in Terraform for managing infrastructure.
  • Expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
  • CompTIA Security+ is required
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • Degree not required
  • 7+ years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role (or similar role); multi-cloud experience is a plus
  • Previous experience and high comfort level working within a flexible Agile environment
  • Strong attention to detail, problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Active Security Clearence preferred
